Advertising and Branding

Skelyton was my own creation, I wanted to create an alternative clothing brand which was aimed towards young people mainly 12-18 year olds. I chose to do the logo design and all the advertising myself.

This was the final logo i came up with. I wanted to used this very simple skull shape as the logo but wanted to add a twist to it. I then went about creating a series of logos all with different features on. The type was made by myself again using a very cartoony style bone structure arranged into the word “Skelyton”.

This is a continuation of the previous image and eventually ended up as a poster design for the company. I chose these characters because i saw them as very easily identifiable character arranged in a very organised and clean way.

This is some graphic that I used for a catalogue flyer. This is part of a 4 series front cover set, the other 3 were in purple, green, and red. I like this design especially because I think the colours go well together. This design includes the logo and typeface that I created but also 2 characters from my t-shirt designs. The background graphics were just paint splats created in photoshop.

These are label design that are eventually attached to the final t-shirts. I tried to create a clear difference between each gender hence the colour. I like these designs because they include the key parts of my logo but i’ve also added a bold san serif type aswell which I think is good. These labels were, when printed mounted onto normal luggage labels and then attached with safety pins to the garment.
